Electro-Optical Sciences, a medical device company developing non-invasive instruments to diagnose melanoma, filed for an initial public offering with the SEC on Friday. Ladenburg Thalmann and Stanford Group Company are the underwriters on the deal. The company plans to list its shares on the NASDAQ under the ticker MELA. Pricing terms were not disclosed in the initial filing.
