Aspen Neuroscience, a Phase 1/2a biotech developing stem cell therapies for Parkinson’s disease, raised $141 million by offering 9.4 million shares at $15, the low end of the $15 to $17 range. At pricing, the company commands a fully diluted market value of $462 million.
Aspen Neuroscience is developing autologous induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. Its lead candidate, sasineprocel, is a single-dose cell therapy made from cells taken from a patient’s own skin biopsy, designed to replace the dopaminergic neurons lost in Parkinson’s disease. The company is evaluating sasineprocel in an open-label Phase 1/2a trial, in which 15 patients had been dosed as of August 18, 2026, and following feedback from the FDA, anticipates dosing patients in a Phase 3 trial in the second half of 2027. Sasineprocel has received RMAT and Fast Track designations from the FDA.
The San Diego, CA-based company will trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol ASPE. Leerink Partners, Piper Sandler, Stifel, UBS Investment Bank, and Oppenheimer & Co. acted as joint bookrunners on the deal.
