SPAC JATT III Acquisition prices $60 million IPO, targeting biotech and life sciences

August 26, 2026

JATT III Acquisition, a blank check company formed by biotech entrepreneurs targeting life sciences businesses, raised $60 million by offering 6 million shares at $10. Unlike most SPACs, the company is not offering units with warrants or rights attached.

JATT III Acquisition is led by CEO and Chairman Someit Sidhu, who has founded and led several healthcare companies, most recently Khanda Therapeutics, where he serves as CEO. Earlier in his career, Sidhu founded a biotech that was sold to Roivant Sciences.

The SPAC plans to target healthcare and healthcare-related businesses, with a primary emphasis on biotechnology and broader life sciences.

Sidhu's previous SPAC, JATT II Acquisition (JATT; +25% from $10 offer price ), completed a $60 million IPO in April 2026; two months later, it announced a merger agreement with preclinical biotech Talawar Therapeutics, with a $225 million PIPE from Bain Capital, RA Capital, and others. Sidhu's earlier SPAC, JATT Acquisition, completed its combination with hair loss biotech Zura Bio (Nasdaq: ZURA; -37% from $10 offer price) in 2023.

The Westfield, NJ-based company will trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol JTTT. Guggenheim Securities acted as sole bookrunner on the deal.
