Just one IPO priced this past week, joined by a handful of SPACs.
Korea-listed SK hynix (SKHYV) raised $26.5 billion at a $1.1 trillion market cap in its US cross-listing. SK hynix is one of the world's largest memory semiconductor companies, ranking first or second in the global markets for Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM), high-bandwidth memory (HBM), and Not-AND (NAND) flash memory. Its products can be used in virtually all electronic devices. The company also has foundry operations. While memory stocks have surged this year, the industry is cyclical, which often leads to lumpy results quarter-to-quarter. SK hynix rose 13% in its debut.
