Monkey Tree Investment, which operates English learning centers for children in Hong Kong, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $7 million in an initial public offering.
The company plans to raise $7 million by offering 1.6 million shares at a price range of $4 to $5. At the midpoint of the proposed range, Monkey Tree Investment would command a market value of $79 million.
Monkey Tree provides children’s language courses, primarily in English and, to a lesser extent, Mandarin. The company operates 20 centers in Hong Kong for students aged 3 to 14, offering programs in phonics, reading, grammar, writing, conversation, and exam preparation. It has also licensed the “Monkey Tree” brand to other operators, which operate an additional 38 centers in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong-based company was founded in 2009 and plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol MKTR. Monkey Tree Investment filed confidentially on July 7, 2025. Revere Securities is the sole bookrunner on the deal.
