Looking for AI IPOs? Introducing IPO Pro's new AI Screen

May 30, 2025

As the IPO space heats up, a wealth of AI companies are eyeing public listings. One of the most notable recent AI IPOs, CoreWeave (CRWV), has soared since its March debut. With more big names expected soon, many investors are looking for ways to monitor the space.

That’s why we’ve added an exciting new feature to our IPO Pro platform: the AI Screen. IPO Pro’s AI Screen enables users to filter through AI companies in numerous ways, using over 5 years of data. This tool - exclusive to IPO Pro subscribers - can be accessed from the navigation bar under the Screens tab.

The explosion of VC funding raised by AI startups has made it clear that AI will be one of the IPO market's dominant investment categories over the next decade. While legacy public companies of all stripes seek to tap into this powerful new growth avenue, even AI leaders like Nvidia (1999 IPO), Alphabet (2004 IPO), and Meta Platforms (2012 IPO) are not pure-play AI companies. Investors will need to follow the IPO market to find pure-play AI stocks.

Filter by AI Subcategories
To help navigate the many different ways companies are playing the AI space, we have come up with our own categorization of AI companies, ranging from infrastructure, model development, deployment, robotics, and AI applications. Users may filter and sort by individual subcategories to help identify names in specific spaces.

Filter by AI Dependency
Renaissance Capital's analysts assign a rating to evaluate the importance of AI to companies in the space, ranging from 1 (minimal AI usage) to 5 (AI-centric business model). Within IPO Pro’s AI Screen, the AI Dependency drop-down allows users to sort by this filter. You can include more companies by selecting 1-Minimal and 2-Basic from the drop-down, or take a more strict AI view by unselecting 3-Moderate from the dropdown.

Get over 5 years of data
Looking for big names like C3.ai (NYSE: AI) and Palantir (Nasdaq: PLTR)? Unlike many other screens on IPO Pro, the AI Screen shows data covering the past five calendar years, plus the year-to-date period.

Filter by Deal Size
IPO Pro’s AI Screen enables users to both screen AI IPOs by deal size. The default is set to include all deals, but users may choose to filter for companies that raised at least $50 million, $100 million, or $500 million.
