Jointly developed by Renaissance Capital, the IPO Expert®, and Index provider FTSE Group, the FTSE Renaissance IPO Index Series was designed to track the activity and performance of the IPO Market and to add structure and transparency to the most inefficient category of public equities, allowing investors controlled access to the unique attributes and early returns of IPOs. The Index Series incorporates a rolling two-year population of IPOs and employs a float-adjusted market capitalization weighting scheme to account for only those shares that are publicly available for trading.
