iWatt files for a $75 million IPO

iWatt, a provider of power management integrated circuits, filed on Monday with the SEC to raise up to $75 million in an initial public offering. The Campbell, CA-based company, which was founded in 1999 and booked $58 million in sales for the 12 months ended 3/31/2012, plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol IWAT.

iWatt is the third company to file publicly after employing the confidential submission process under the JOBS Act. Notable backers include venture capital firms VantagePoint Capital Partners, Sigma Partners, Horizon Ventures and 7 Capital. Deutsche Bank Securities and Barclays are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
