Transportation outsourcing firm Echo Global Logistics files for IPO

Echo Global Logistics, which provides technology-enabled shipping and freight management services, filed with the SEC for an IPO on Wednesday. The Chicago-based company booked $95 million in sales in 2007 and has applied to list its shares on the NASDAQ under the ticker ECHO. Lehman Brothers and Citi are the lead underwriters on the deal. No terms were disclosed in the initial filing.
