Polymer producer Kraton Performance files for an IPO

Kraton Performance Polymers, which produces styrenic block copolymers (SBCs), filed on Thursday with the SEC to raise up to $230 million in an initial public offering. The Houston, TX-based company, was founded in 2003 and booked $1,043 million in sales over the last 12 months. Credit Suisse, BofA Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley are the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
