OncoMed Pharmaceuticals files for $115 million US IPO

OncoMed Pharmaceuticals, a biotech developing new antibody therapeutics used in cancer treatments, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $115 million in an initial public offering. The Redwood City, CA-based company, which was founded in 2004 and booked $31 million in sales for the 12 months ended 3/31/2012, plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol OMED. Jefferies and Leerink Swann are the joint bookrunners on the deal.
