Oaktree Capital files for a $100 million IPO
Oaktree Capital Group, LLC, a global investment management firm focusing on credit with over $80 billion in assets under management, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering. The Los Angeles, CA-based company, which was founded in 1995 and booked $7 billion in sales for the 12 months ended March 31, 2011, plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol OAK. Goldman, Sachs & Co., and Morgan Stanley are the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
