Network security appliance vendor Fortinet files for an IPO

Fortinet, which provides network security appliances to enterprises, service providers and government entities, filed with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering on Monday. The Sunnyvale,CA-based company was founded in 2000 and booked $229 million in sales over the last 12 months. Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, and Deutsche Bank are the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
