National Beef, which is the fourth largest beef processor in the US, postponed its IPO on Thursday citing poor market conditions. The Kansas City, MO-based company was founded in 1992 and booked $5.7 billion in sales for the 12 months ended August 2009. BofA Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse were set to be the lead underwriters on the deal.
