Mortgage REIT Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance files for an IPO

Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance, an Apollo Management-backed REIT that intends to invest in senior commercial real estate loans, CMBS, corporate debt and other real-estate related debt investments, filed with the SEC for an initial public offering on Friday. The New York, NY-based company was founded in 2009 and plans to list on the NYSE. J.P. Morgan is the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
