Lithium-ion battery producer A123 Systems files for IPO

A123 Systems, which provides rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and battery systems, filed with the SEC for an IPO on Friday. The Watertown, MA-based company booked $42 million in LTM sales and plans to list its shares on the NASDAQ under the ticker AONE. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are set to be the lead underwriters on the deal. No terms were disclosed in the initial filing.
