Extend Health files for a $75 million IPO

Extend Health, a provider of health benefit management services and a Medicare exchange operator, registered with the SEC for a $75 million initial public offering on Friday. The San Mateo, CA based company, which was founded in 2004, booked $55 million in sales for the twelve months ended September 30, 2011. Extend Health plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol XH. Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital are the lead underwriters on the deal, for which pricing terms and timing were not disclosed.
