Position Description

Seeking a recent COLLEGE GRAD for EQUITY RESEARCH Renaissance Capital LLC, located in Greenwich, CT (25 miles north of New York City) is the global leader in providing independent research on Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) for major financial institutions and individual investors, and advisor to the IPO Plus Fund, the only mutual fund to focus solely on the initial public offering market. Renaissance Capital also maintains the FTSE Renaissance IPO Index Series to provide investors with a comprehensive and structured vehicle to invest in the IPO market around the world. FTSE is the global index company that is jointly owned by the Financial Times of London and the London Stock Exchange.

Our analyst position has been called a "boot camp for financial analysis" involving financial modeling, valuation, discounted cash flow and fundamental business analysis. The Junior Analyst will be taught our proprietary research process for analyzing newly public companies and be responsible for preparing research reports on a broad range of industries with an emphasis on technology, communications, health care and retail companies. A willingness to use new technology is essential and an entrepreneurial spirit with a "can do" attitude is a requisite. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in financial markets; has strong writing skills; is curious; enjoys problem solving and creative thinking; works effectively in teams; communicates persuasively; can demonstrate a track record of academic success; and is comfortable working with numbers. We seek energetic, outgoing and self-motivated individuals that have a desire to thrive in a dynamic, sometimes high-pressure environment.
