LogMeIn prices IPO at $16.00, at high end of the range

LogMeIn, which provides on-demand remote connectivity software for IT support, raised $106.7 million by offering 6,666,667 at $16.00, at high end of the range of $14.00 to $16.00. LogMeIn plans to list on the NASDAQ on Wednesday under the symbol "LOGM". J.P. Morgan and Barclays acted as lead managers on the deal.

REIT Colony Financial files for an IPO

Colony Financial, a newly-organized REIT that intends to invest in commercial mortgage loans and other commercial real estate related debt instruments, filed with the SEC for an IPO on Tuesday. The Los Angeles, CA-based company will be externally managed by global real estate investment firm Colony Capital and will apply to have its shares listed on the NYSE. Merrill Lynch is the lead underwriter on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.

Visanet prices its US$3.7 billion IPO at high end; stock gains 12% in early trading

Visanet, the Brazilian payment processor that is the only Visa-branded card acquirer in Brazil, priced its 488 million share IPO at R$15.00, the high end of the R$12.00-R$15.00 range, on Thursday. The R$7.3 billion offering (US$3.7 billion) makes it comfortably the largest IPO of the year and also the largest Brazilian IPO ever, topping last year's OGX Petroleo (OGXP3.BZ), which raised R$6.7 billion. (Visanet's deal size could reach as much as R$8.4 billion, or US$4.3 billion, if the selling shareholders exercise their rights to sell additional shares.) The stock began trading on the BOVESPA on Monday under the ticker "VNET3;" shares were up 12% in morning trading.
