Brazilian steakhouse chain Fogo Hospitality files for a $100 million IPO

Fogo Hospitality, a Brazilian steakhouse chain with 60 locations in the US and internationally, filed on Tuesday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering.

Fogo Hospitality, operating under the the Fogo de Chão brand, operates restaurants inspired by Brazilian family-style dining. The chain's total footprint is 60 locations, 53 of which are company-owned and 46 of which are located in the US.

The Plano, TX-based company was founded in 1979 and booked $362 million in revenue for the 12 months ended September 30, 2021. It plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol FOGO. Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities, Jefferies, Credit Suisse, Piper Sandler, Raymond James, Stephens Inc., and Truist Securities are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
