Customer support software firm Freshworks prices IPO at $36, above the upwardly revised range

Freshworks, which provides a business SaaS for customer support and IT projects, raised $1.0 billion by offering 28.5 million shares at $36, above the upwardly revised range of $32 to $34. The company originally planned to offer its shares at $28 to $32, before raising the range on Monday.

Freshworks offers Freshdesk, its core customer service software product, and Freshservice, its IT service management product. The company served approximately 52,000 businesses as of June 30, 2021. In the same period, a majority of its annual recurring revenue came from customers with more than 250 employees. 

Freshworks plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol FRSH. Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, BofA Securities, Jefferies, and Barclays acted as joint bookrunners on the deal.
