Beef and pork processing company JBS USA Holdings files for an IPO

JBS USA Holdings, one of the world's largest beef and pork processing companies with operations in the US and Australia, filed with the SEC to raise up to $2 billion in an initial public offering on Wednesday. The Greeley, CO-based company is a carve out of Sao Paulo-traded JBS S.A. and booked $16.2 billion in sales over the last 12 months. JBS USA Holdings plans to list its common stock on the NYSE under the symbol "JBS". J.P. Morgan and BofA Merrill Lynch are the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
