Rimini Street officially withdraws IPO following merger with SPAC GP Investments Acquisition

Rimini Street (RMNI.XX), an independent provider of enterprise software support services, officially withdrew its IPO filing on Tuesday, following the completion of its merger with publicly-traded blank check company GP Investments Acquisition (Former ticker: GPIA), which was originally announced in May 2017. The SPAC filed an 8-K on Tuesday with additional details. The combined entity will be renamed "Rimini Street, Inc." and its units, common stock and warrants will commence trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbols RMNIU, RMNI and RMNIW, respectively, on October 11th.
