James River Group, a provider of excess and surplus lines and workers' compensation insurance coverage, priced its offering of 4.444 million shares at $18, the high end of its $16-$18 range. Keefe Bruyette & Woods lead managed the IPO and was assisted by Bear Stearns, Friedman Billings and Wachovia Securities. The stock is set to begin trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "JRVR" on Tuesday.
