Floored: PE-backed retailer Floor & Decor Holdings withdraws $100 million IPO

Floor & Decor Holdings, a hard surface flooring retailer with 45 warehouse-format locations in the US, withdrew its plans for an initial public offering on Friday. It originally filed in November 2014 with a proposed deal size of $100 million.

The Smyrna, GA-based company was founded in 2000 and booked $539 million in sales for the 12 months ended September 30, 2014. It had planned to list on the NYSE under the symbol FND. BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, J.P. Morgan, Jefferies, Credit Suisse and Wells Fargo Securities were set to be the joint bookrunners on the deal.
