American Farmland Company prices IPO at $8, in line with lowered expectations

American Farmland Company, a internally managed REIT with farmland in California, Illinois and Florida, raised $48 million by offering 6 million shares at $8, as expected. It originally planned to sell 12 million shares at $8.50-$10.50. American Farmland Company plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol AFCO. Deutsche Bank, Citi, Raymond James, RBC Capital Markets and FBR Capital Markets acted as lead managers on the deal.
