LBO'd market data provider IDC files for an IPO that could raise $700 million

Interactive Data Corporation, which provides financial market data and services for financial institutions, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $700 million in an initial public offering.

The Bedford, MA-based company, which was founded in 1968 and booked $940 million in sales for the 12 months ended June 30, 2015, plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol IDC. IDC filed confidentially on July 24, 2015. Morgan Stanley, Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, UBS Investment Bank, Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Evercore Partners, Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo Securities are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
