Virgin America prices IPO at $23, toward the top of the range

Virgin America, a US airline operating primarily out of San Francisco and Los Angeles, raised $307 million by offering 13.3 million shares at $23, within the range of $21 to $24. Virgin America plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol VA. Barclays and Deutsche Bank acted as lead managers on the deal.
