Lab results are in: VWR prices IPO at $21, below the range

VWR, a Madison Dearborn-backed supplier of general and specialty laboratory products, raised $536 million by offering 25.5 million shares at $21, below the range of $22 to $25. VWR plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol VWR. BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Citi, Jefferies & Co. and William Blair acted as lead managers on the deal.
